i want to install win xp on my virtual computer i create with vm ware.... does this mean that i need a windows xp disc? and if yes... can i download win xp anywhere?

2nd question: How do i set my desktop background to classic in Win Vista?

yes you do need an os on the Vm but it does not have to be xp

to change desktop settings right click on a blank space on your desktop then goto personalize on the menu

in there you will find the settings for windows classic

also to dsiable font smoothing you can do this in the same section under advanced properties.

right click on the controll panel or my computer and navigate to properties then advanced system settings then advanced

uncheck the box that has smooth edges of fonts apply it and click ok then your done.

This is a standard setting for any bot and im shocked you have run the shanky bot without these settings.
